From Lakeside to LPS: The Evolution of a Unified Brand
Growth is rarely about adding more. The right growth is about becoming more aligned and value creation.
Over the past two decades, Lakeside has grown from a regional facilities maintenance firm into a nationwide partner supporting multi-site organizations across healthcare, financial services, retail, and commercial sectors. Today, that evolution reaches its next chapter.
Lakeside Project Solutions, Lakeside Sign Company, and Harbinger Sign Company are now united under one brand:
LPS.
This is not simply a merger. It is a strategic alignment of expertise designed to deliver facility performance and brand execution through one integrated partner.
Built on a Foundation of Service
In 2004, Becky Loranger founded Lakeside Project Solutions with a clear vision: to bring professionalism, accountability, and proactive communication to the facilities maintenance industry.
At the time, many facility service providers operated reactively-responding to problems after they escalated and relying heavily on fragmented vendor networks. Becky believed clients deserved better.
She built Lakeside around experienced project managers, measurable performance standards, and a culture centered on keeping the client first. From preventative maintenance to large-scale renovations, Lakeside grew by solving root causes rather than treating symptoms.
Over time, Lakeside expanded nationally, supporting organizations with hundreds-and in some cases thousands-of locations. The mission remained consistent: lower unnecessary facility spend, improve operational efficiency, and uphold brand standards across every site LPS.
That commitment to disciplined execution and proactive partnership became the backbone of the company.
Expanding Into Signage-Intentionally
As our clients grew, so did their needs.
We recognized that facility condition and brand presentation are inseparable. A well-maintained building supports customer experience. Exterior branding reinforces identity. Re-imaging programs demand coordination between construction and signage teams.
In 2024, Lakeside expanded its signage capabilities through the acquisition of The Sign Resource, broadening our national program management capacity, which led to creation of a new brand, the Lakeside Sign Company (LSC).
But the most significant expansion for LPS + LSC came in August 2025 with the acquisition of Harbinger Sign Company.
Harbinger is a respected and well-known brand in the signage industry-recognized for creative expertise, execution excellence, and strong client relationships. Their team of designers, client success leaders, and project managers brought deep experience in national branding programs and complex signage rollouts.
The addition of Harbinger was not just about adding a service line. It was about adding high-level creative and strategic expertise to complement our operational strength.
That combination changes everything.
Why Integration Matters
Facilities projects and signage initiatives often intersect in critical ways.
A rebrand requires coordinated electrical, structural, and signage work.
A remodel impacts both infrastructure and exterior identity.
A national rollout demands tight scheduling across trades and brand assets.
When managed separately, these projects create unnecessary complexity. Multiple vendors. Multiple contracts. Disconnected schedules. Competing priorities. When managed together, they create efficiency and value for our clients.
The delivery of a consistent branded experience through our clients’ facility environments is critical to their value proposition-and to their customers. Every location represents their brand. Every storefront, branch, clinic, or retail space communicates something to the market. Brand standards cannot live in isolation from facility execution.
By uniting as LPS, we simplify coordination, eliminate silos, and ensure that facility performance and brand presentation work in sync-not in parallel.
One Brand. One Partner.
Operating as separate brands no longer reflected how we serve our clients.
Today, as LPS, we deliver:
Nationwide facilities maintenance
Preventative and reactive programs
Capital projects and renovations
Integrated signage design and manufacturing
Re-imaging and brand rollout initiatives
Disaster preparation and recovery
All managed through one coordinated, accountable team. This alignment reduces vendor complexity, improves timeline control, strengthens budget management, and ultimately enhances the consistency of the brand experience across every location.
What LPS Represents
LPS represents alignment — operationally, strategically, and culturally.
Alignment between facility performance and brand excellence.
Alignment between operations and creative execution.
Alignment between strategy and on-site delivery.
At our Core we are committed to authentic communication, integrity, and creating exceptional experiences LPS-LSC. These principles continue to guide how we operate-just with broader capabilities and deeper expertise.
What has not changed is our commitment to partnership.
We still prioritize proactive communication.
We still focus on solving root causes.
We still believe long-term relationships matter more than transactions.
What has changed is the level of integration we can now offer.
Stronger Together
Harbinger’s reputation in the signage industry, combined with Lakeside’s national facilities infrastructure, creates a uniquely positioned organization.
Our clients now benefit from:
Unified project management across trades and branding
Simplified vendor coordination
Consistent national execution
Integrated budgeting and scheduling
A seamless connection between facility condition and brand identity
Rather than hiring one company for maintenance and another for signage, organizations can rely on a single partner who understands that their facility environment is part of their brand promise.
The Future of LPS
This evolution positions LPS at the intersection of facility performance and brand execution.
We maintain the spaces where business happens.
We execute the branding that defines who our clients are.
We manage complexity so our clients can focus on growth.
From Becky’s founding vision in 2004 to the addition of Harbinger’s nationally recognized signage expertise, LPS is the result of intentional growth-built on service, strengthened by expertise, and unified by purpose.
Welcome to the next chapter.
